How to Boot Windows 10 / 8.1 / 8 in Safe Mode

If you ever need to start your Windows 8.1 in safe mode, then here is a step by step guide, which you can follow to start your Windows 8.1 in Safe Mode. 

Sometimes you need to enter into Safe Mode to troubleshoot windows errors or want to run Windows in a limited state.

So, to start Windows in Safe Mode: 

• Bring up Windows Charm by moving your mouse into bottom right corner of the screen and the click Settings. 
• Click Change PC Settings option. 
• From PC Settings windows, click Update and Recovery option. 
• Click Recovery from the left side pane and then click Restart Now under Advanced Startup. 
• Click on Troubleshoot option and then click Advanced Options. 
• Click Startup Settings and then click Restart button.

And this time Windows will bring you an Advance Startup menu, from where you can start Windows in different modes. 

• From the Startup Settings options, press 4 to start Windows 8.1 in Safe Mode.
