How To Add Quick Launch Toolbar to Taskbar in Windows 10 / 8.1 / 7

In Windows 7, Microsoft has updated the Taskbar, and you might be missing the Quick Launch Toolbar, that you were using from previous version of Windows. But now you can bring it back using a simple trick. To enable the Quick Launch Toolbar, right-click on your Taskbar, and point to Toolbars, and here you will see a number of toolbars, but Quick Launch is not available. Click on New Toolbar and here you have to type the path of Quick Launch folder. Even though, you can browse through the folders, but some system folders are hidden by default, and you will not be able to locate them.

So here you need to type the path. Pause the video for a while and note down the entire path, and then click Select Folder button. Once you have the Quick Launch toolbar on your taskbar, you can move the dividers to see all the icons. You can modify the look of the Quick Launch, by right-clicking on the divider itself, and uncheck Show Text, and Show Title options. You can switch between toolbars, just by dragging them from divider, when the double-side arrow appears, and move to the desire locations. You can also increase icon size, by right-clicking on divider again, point to View, and then click on, Large Icons.

Now, if you again right-click on an empty area of Taskbar, and point to Toolbars, you will see the Quick Launch Toolbar in the list. If you turn it off, then you have to repeat all the process to bring it back again.
