How to Create Folder Without / No Name in Windows 10 / 8.1 / 8 / 7 / XP

Have you ever think of having a folder with no names? Yes, no names. In this video, you will learn that, how easily you can create a new folder with no name.

To do this, right-click on an empty area of your Desktop, point to New, and then click Folder. In Windows 8.1, you can also use a keyboard shortcut to create new folder. Hold down Control & Shift keys, and then press N for new folder. 

As you creating a new folder, Windows is asking you to type a name for your folder. If by mistake, you clicked on your desktop, then default name will be given to your folder. If it happens, then right-click on your folder and choose Rename. Now, here is the trick, hold down the ALT key, and press 0160 from the Numeric Key pad, and then press Enter. Remember, use only Numeric Key pad to press 0160.

To make this folder more eye catching, right-click on the folder, and choose Properties. Click Customize tab, and then click Change Icon button. Choose a beautiful icon for your folder, and that is all. Impress your friends, by showing them, a folder without a name.
